Customers say
Customers like the brightness, value for money, and ease of installation of the bicycle light. They mention it works well both for completely dark areas and occupied dwellings with night street lights. Some appreciate the clear instructions. However, some are disappointed with the light level. Opinions are mixed on functionality, durability, battery life, and fit.

For the price it’s a no brainer – detachable mount very useful
Safety wise, for children bike lights are a must. If I had my way I’d send my kids out with Tron outfits on – just too many idiots playing with their mobile phones on the roads.Firstly loved the price – with the lightning deal I picked this set up for 6.10 plus tax – that is soundly in the “worth a chance,….what do you have to lose?” territory. So even though I bought this some time ago, I only yesterday mounted it on my child’s bike, along with a Vont Pyro USB rechargeable light I had just bought that I mounted for my other child’s bike. They’re both sub 10 years old and really traveling far on bike so getting lights on bikes is the no brainer necessary thing to do. Part of my commentary comes from a comparison between this and the vont pyro.Mounting SystemThe biggest item for me is the mounting system. The BV bike set has mounts that can be fixed in place and the lights can be clipped on or off pretty simply. It’s true that the front light takes a little fidding to remove the light from the mount, but once you do so, it’s a defacto torch (RoW English name for flashlight). My youngsters would have a little trouble mounting / demounting – there’s a reason I gave this to the eldest. So it’s very capable – leave the mounts in place, and if it’s really dark you have a torch to illuminate your path up the driveway. The mounts are sufficient for my needs – sure they’re plastic and seem ok but if I were a competitive mountain biker, you’ll need something more rugged mount wise.By comparison the Pyro lights have rubber band like connectors that wrap around your handlebar and seatpost. MUCH more difficult to put on and off and here’s the kicker – you need to do this often because there is no separate mount – the pyro lights are effectively LED lights with a clip at the back and the rubber band goes under that clip. Not at all child friendly but some nice bright lights once on and USB recharegeable.BatteriesBack to the BV lights – they’re not rechargeable – in the front you have a pack of 4x AAA (aka “triple A”) batteries. In the back you have 2x AAA. You could argue that I could use rechargeable AAA batteries with the lights, and I would if it were for me, but my children LOSE EVERYTHING – rechargeable batteries are not cheap. So the Pyro wins out there.Light IntensityCompared with the Pyro the FRONT LIGHT of the BV is easily brighter. The pyro is good enough but seriously the BV is enough to burn your retina out (“It burns! It burns!”) – again reinforcing its use as a torch when you get to your destination.Flip to the rear light though and the Pyro is slightly, only slightly brighter than the BV but the pyro is also I think wider with 3 separate lenses making it more visible. Not much in it though.Overall value: At the price I paid ( $6.10 plus tax) I think it’s a great deal. The front torch dual use is of real value and the much easier ability to mount / unmount really helps – you put your mounts on (you’ll need a Philips screwdriver to tighten it up) and that’s it – leave the mounts in place. Can’t comment on the battery life. Can say that even if it’s 20 hours, I don’t care – I’ll put in new batteries and the kiddos can be on their way.hthDingo

Bright and well made
Lights are nice and bright. I wanted ones with replaceable batteries so that you can carry extra batteries and not have to worry about them not being charged. Great value. Recommended.

Easy enough to mount, but the front light broke where it connects when my bike fell over
The front and back lights were very easy to mount. I like batteries rather than the pain of taking my light off the bike and recharging it inside – I can always buy batteries if I’m on a long ride and pass a shop, whereas I might not have a charger with me.Unfortunately, my bike fell over as my husband was moving his bike past it and the front light snapped where it is connected – it’s cheap enough that I’m not going to use superglue to fix it – although that might work.

Bright, easy button access
Needed this set to replace OEM light set. Much brighter, visible at longer distances; easy time mount straps. 3 types of light intervals, easy to turn on/off. Rear light takes 2-AAA batteries; front unit, 3-AAA batteries.

Front lights are garbage back lights are great and easy to install.
The brake lights were easy to open up and insert batteries and attached to the bike but the front light that’s supposed to attach to the handlebars I can’t even get into the battery compartment because I need a Phillips head eyeglass screwdriver. It’s so cheap that I feel like if I put any force on it trying to open it up I’m going to break it. I really only bought these for the back lights but I’m pretty disappointed that the front lights are absolute trash.

Ready to use with immediate access to AAA batteries
No worries about charging with this set. Stick some AAA batteries in and the unit goes to work. Very bright front and rear lights with various strobe functions. Even survived a brutal rain storm lasting nearly an hour!

Very bright (both) lights, really easy to fit + these come with quality fixings whereas many are very flimsy.

muy buena relación calidad precio. Lo más importante es tener luces. Compra estas. Ambas se recargan por USB.

Excelente calidad y precio.

Wow. Don’t even bother reading this review. Just buy it!!Pros: High quality crazy bright light. I feel like passing out sunglasses to incoming traffic. Has 3 modes.A) Bright as the surface of the sun. I’m sure it lights up the road better than my car. If you go off road it lights up the woods beauty, eh.B) Seems nearly as bright as above but apparently uses half the power.C) Blinking mode. Crazy bright flashing light. And I mean bright! I tried it at night. Almost induced a seizure. Then I figured out it is a daytime light so incoming traffic will notice you.The rear light is like the above only the red version. The USB charging is flawless. I’ve used it for 1.5 h with no signs of it losing power. It has a little light that lets you know when it is time to recharge.Very high quality! A huge assortment of ways to attach to your bike. Someone mentioned that their handlebars were too thick, but it fit my hybrid bike bars perfectly and can expand to larger circumferences. Has an alternate strap for the front light for larger bars. Has additional clip for hanging the red light on backpack etc.Con: The instructions that come with the light aren’t that good. They show the light sliding into the clamp from the wrong side. Better instructions can be found on the Amazon page where you buy the light.
